From 1st September 2009, Hovertravel will launch a new Season Card aimed at School
pupils and students who travel across the Solent on a daily basis. The new card named the Child Academic Year Season Card, replaces the 12, 6 and 3 months extendible child season tickets and has a fixed validity of 1st September to 31st July.
The card has been created further to feedback and demand from parents of child travellers and offers greater value for money and convenience than the previous tickets. The child academic Year Season Card has a set price of £690 and the only exclusions of use within the valid period are Christmas and Easter holidays.
Additionally, for the first time Hovertravel are offering the sale of the new season ticket by Direct Debit, to further convenience to customers and ease payments, and a small additional payment of £10.
