A BBC film crew spent the morning of 9^th September with Hovertravel filming for their series celebrating the British Countryside, Country Tracks.

 Travelling onboard Hovertravel’s 130 seater craft ‘Solent Express’ during the busy service, the team filmed the operation to and from the Isle of Wight and interviewed Operations Manager & Senior Captain Barrie Jehan about his 41 years working at Hovertravel, the success of Hovertravel’s service and the hovercraft as a unique mode of transport to reach the Island.

Country Tracks is a weekly programme which features journey's through rural Britain. The Isle of Wight show is likely to broadcast the New Year.
